The AC Milan club managers are working to sign fresh faces to add to the offensive department of head coach Massimiliano Allegri. But, it seems that there are also plans to add a new centre-back to the team.

Are Milan interested in Manuel Akanji?
In fact, confirmations have arrived this morning from Fabrizio Romano who explained that the Italians have inquired about the potential deal conditions in order to be able to sign Manuel Akanji, the 30-year-old Swiss defender from Manchester City.
There have been no official bids sent from Casa Milan yet. The player is reportedly one of three names regarded as candidates to reinforce the defence at the San Siro.
As per Fabrizio Romano, Turkish outfit Galatasaray agreed a £15 million (just over 17 million euros) with Manchester City. No agreement, however, has been found yet with Akanji's entourage.
