It is hard to say if the final turning point has finally arrived, especially since Milan’s market so far has been full of surprises.
The indication coming from the Rossoneri headquarters, however, is fairly clear: for the attack, Igli Tare and Giorgio Furlani have set their sights on Christopher Nkunku, the French attacking utility player from Chelsea, and Artem Dovbyk, the Ukrainian forward leaving Roma.
La Gazzetta dello Sport described the Rossoneri’s next moves in this morning’s paper.
No to Conrad Harder...
Everything started with the rejection of Conrad Harder. According to the Italian newspaper, Sporting Lisbon did not close the deal with Panathinaikos for Fotis Ioannidis. Then, the agents asked for more, and Milan reconsidered. So alternatives are being explored. High-level alternatives, in fact.

The Christopher Nkunku deal
Nkunku is currently the main candidate. The negotiation is still to be defined, but it is possible that Nkunku could move for 35 40 million euros.
Chelsea has been looking for a solution for him since January and prefers a permanent transfer. Regarding his salary, it is logical that an agreement around 5 million euros will be necessary.
Milan could consider Dovbyk too
The Rossoneri club has inquired about Roma’s striker Artem Dovbyk. The idea is to try to get him on loan, although Roma would need to find another striker to release him.
