The end of the transfer window is drawing closer, which is why Milan have decided to take their first concrete steps towards Liverpool’s Joe Gomez.
With the Manuel Akanji, from Manchester City, option having fallen through, the 1997-born defender is now head coach Massimiliano Allegri’s top choice for the back line.
Fabrizio Romano reports on his social media accounts that Milan have submitted an initial offer for the permanent transfer of Joe Gomez to Italy. The two clubs are currently negotiating the terms of the deal, but Liverpool would only let the Englishman leave once they have secured his replacement (Marc Guehi).
