The transfer market has closed, with Milan completing an enormous number of operations over two months and ten days: 10 arrivals and as many as 27 departures. A real revolution for the Rossoneri squad, now entrusted to Massimiliano Allegri, who will be tasked with ensuring that the players made available to him can bring the club back to the top, at the very least, to the Champions League.

Speaking on Carlo Pellegatti’s YouTube channel, Sky Sport correspondent Peppe Di Stefano shared his thoughts.

Di Stefano’s verdict on Milan’s transfer market, particularly the final signings for Allegri’s squad: Nkunku and Rabiot:

"Nkunku and Rabiot reminded me of the kind of deals Milan used to make in its great years: last-minute moves that bring a smile to the faces of fans and the coach. These are players who shift the balance within a league. As for the Thiago Silva idea? If Akanji or Gomez had come, we would have said it was perfect. Since in the end a youngster arrived, looking back, even someone like Thiago would have been useful."
