This morning’s edition of Il Giornale headlines:
"Milan, the numbers and truths of the market."
The newspaper reports the figures from the Rossoneri’s summer transfer window:
“€170 million was invested in transfer fees, excluding the expenditure on Allegri and his technical staff, which is considered the second-highest in the league. To cover this hefty sum, 27 player sales brought in a total of €165 million."
"According to those who know the numbers inside AC Milan, all the proceeds from these sales were reinvested in acquisitions, leaving a deficit of just €5 million, an amount that does not raise concerns, as the balance sheet on June 30, 2025, will close in the black thanks to the accounting from Kalulu’s purchase by Juventus and Reijnders’ sale to Manchester City (the fixed fee being €55 million).”
