The Italian newspaper Corriere dello Sport headlines this morning:
"Nkunku faces the balloon test."
The reference is to Christopher Nkunku's usual celebration, which involves inflating a balloon. Now that he has joined Milan, the Frenchman hopes to inflate many, as he explained yesterday during his presentation press conference: "If I need more than 15 balloons this year, it will mean I did very well."
The new Milan signing, who arrived on a permanent transfer from Chelsea, also spoke about his preferred role on the pitch: "I like playing as an attacking midfielder, but of course it depends on the matches and the coach’s decisions. Still, I play between midfield and attack: that is my favorite position."
