One of Milan’s most expensive signings of the summer, and certainly the one pursued the longest is Ardon Jashari. He arrived with big expectations, but his adventure has not started in the best way.
After the brief playing time Massimiliano Allegri gave him in the first two official outings of the season, against Bari in the Coppa Italia and against Cremonese in Serie A’s opening round, the former Bruges man had to stop.
The reason is a serious training injury that will sideline him for a considerable period.
But when can he return to the pitch?
Jashari picked up the injury during training before Lecce-Milan, as revealed by Massimiliano Allegri in the pre-match press conference. The Swiss midfielder got hurt in a clash with Santiago Gimenez and suffered a heavy blow to the fibula. Jashari’s recovery time is estimated at about two to three months starting from the end of August.
As a result, the midfielder is not expected back before November 2025. That month, Milan will face Roma (Matchday 10, November 2), Parma (Matchday 11, November 8), Inter (Matchday 12, November 23), and Lazio (Matchday 13).
