Former Milan defender Jan-Carlo Simic could soon return to playing in Italy. According to transfer expert Matteo Moretto, Lazio have already submitted an official offer to Anderlecht for the 2005-born defender, formerly of Milan.
Although the Serbian’s contract runs until 2029, the Roma-based club’s management has stepped up contacts with the Belgian side in order to secure the deal ahead of January.
The valuation of the former Milan talent is around €12 million, with Milan set to receive 20% of any future sale thanks to a previous agreement. Lazio are determined to complete the move and give Sarri his first reinforcement for the second half of the season in January.
