Who will play in attack on Sunday evening against Bologna?
Today’s edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport opens with this headline:
“One spot for two. Milan, Leao still out: Gimenez ahead of Loftus-Cheek.”
Rafael Leao has not yet recovered from the calf injury suffered in mid-August and will therefore miss the match against the Emilian side after already sitting out the first two league games against Cremonese and Lecce.
His replacement will most likely be Santiago Gimenez, though there is a possible surprise with Ruben Loftus-Cheek, who head coach Massimiliano Allegri could push further forward. The Mexican remains the favorite to partner Christian Pulisic, who is certain to start against Bologna.
