Good news from Milanello...
While Rafael Leao will need at least another week before returning to the pitch (the goal is to have him available for the away trip to Udine next Saturday) Massimiliano Allegri can breathe easier regarding Pervis Estupiñán’s condition. The left-back trained regularly with the group yesterday after missing Ecuador’s last match due to muscle fatigue and is expected to start tomorrow night against Bologna.

As for international duty, Santiago Gimenez came back highly motivated after scoring in the closing stages of Mexico - South Korea. 'El Bebote' netted the 2–2 equalizer with a fine left-footed strike to the far post. It was an important breakthrough, since he had not scored in an official game since Milan - Bologna last season. Against the Rossoblù, he will have the chance to do it again, most likely from the start.
Defender Koni De Winter is also pushing for a starting spot, and a potential Rossoneri debut, possibly in place of Strahinja Pavlovic, who logged 180 minutes with Serbia in only a few days. Allegri will decide only after today’s training and tomorrow morning’s final session whether to rotate his back three in front of Maignan or postpone any changes.
For the rest, the lineup should resemble the one used in Lecce, with the only difference being either Rabiot or Pulisic in place of Musah, who was sold to Atalanta right before the transfer window closed.
