Massimiliano Allegri spoke to DAZN after Milan-Bologna 1-0. Here are his statements:
What pleasure is it to watch Luka Modric play?
"Luka is an extraordinary player, it’s a pleasure to watch him play, he’s a truly humble guy. He’s wonderful, he knows where the ball will end up a minute in advance. All the guys played a good game, it was important to win at home without conceding. In difficult moments the team stayed compact. In those situations it’s important not to lose shape and let them pass."
On Santiago Gimenez:
“He ran a lot, he pressed. He had 2-3 important chances, true, but he got there a bit tired after all the work he did for the team. He’s a good guy, he was also technically good, I’m very happy.”
The importance of not conceding and of reading the moments of the match:
"It’s a group of extraordinary guys, they work hard, they don’t complain. Together with the club, we have the goal of returning to play in the Champions League. We need to improve, we must not get carried away. We have to keep improving in terms of play, but it must be said the guys are doing very well. We work every day to improve every day."

You took off your jacket… What happened?
"Nothing special. There was the penalty incident, I argued with the fourth official and luckily the jacket saved me."
How is Mike Maignan?
"Surely in Udine I don’t think he’ll be there, the calf is very risky. Terracciano had a good debut at San Siro, I’m very happy. We also have Torriani, who is very good. The important thing is to work as a team like tonight, then even in difficulties it’s important to have this right spirit, one small step at a time," he told DAZN.
On the positional exchanges between midfielders making runs forward:
"They are players who have this kind of characteristic. They move when they are marked man-to-man, and that’s in their nature."
