Yacine Adli was Milan’s last sale.
The Franco-Algerian midfielder, after spending the summer training with Milan Futuro but unable to play, was sold in early September to Al Shabab in Saudi Arabia.
AC Milan earned around 8 million euros from the deal, while the player received a hefty salary. In one of his latest YouTube videos, transfer market expert Matteo Moretto revealed some background details from the summer about the player.

Here are Matteo Moretto’s words on Yacine Adli's move:
"Yacine's final salary at Al Shabab is 6 million euros net. During the summer, two Italian clubs in particular tried to sign him, Sassuolo and Torino, but the player wasn’t convinced by either destination. Let me tell you a story: at the end of last season, Adli himself asked Fiorentina not to exercise the option to buy him. His idea was to try to return to Milan and continue with Milan. He wanted, at all costs, to earn a place in Massimiliano Allegri’s squad. That didn’t happen."
