Adriano Galliani, the historic Rossoneri executive, was approached by AGI on the streets of Rome and answered a few questions about a possible return to Milan’s management.
Fans, who saw you at San Siro, dreamed of seeing him back in the club’s hierarchy. How true is that?
“Nothing true. I am a Milan fan, 31 years of Milan: I came to San Siro to support Milan and cheer for my team. I have always done that over the years. With Berlusconi, we sold Milan in 2017, it’s been eight years. I, depending on Monza’s matches, have always continued to follow Milan. It’s not like I just went Sunday night… So nothing, forza Milan.”

Modric a Berlusconi-style signing?
“Modric is a world-class player. On Sunday I was sitting near our coach Gattuso and other former Rossoneri players like Ambrosini, and I told them he is a professor like Pirlo: once it was said that he is the type of player who alone is worth the price of the ticket.”
Latest updates on Galliani's return to AC Milan
As reported by MilanNews.it, the executive's return is strictly linked to the sale of Monza. Only when the closing between Fininvest and Beckett Layn Ventures for the club’s ownership is completed, could the final approval for the legendary executive’s return to Milan arrive, if the parties confirm the initial verbal agreements.
