Matteo Moretto, transfer market expert, spoke on a YouTube channel together with Fabrizio Romano and gave some updates regarding AC Milan players’ contract renewals.
On Alexis Saelemaekers, Moretto said:
"Before going on a straight loan to Roma, Milan had already extended Saelemaekers’ contract until 2027. His deal is one of those the club is now working on to try to adjust and extend further. Milan’s intention is to continue with the player, his performances are making a difference because he is delivering at a high level. Just like with Tomori, Milan have the idea of renewing Saelemaekers. Contacts are expected in the coming weeks. It is a topic under discussion. He deserves this kind of reward."

On Christian Pulisic, Moretto said:
"Pulisic’s contract runs until 2027 but Milan hold an option to extend it to 2028. In the club’s view, the deal already runs until 2028. Back in February, both sides had reached a basic agreement on an extension with improved terms, but without signing anything. At that time we were talking about a deal until 2028 plus one more year, with a salary rising to around 5 million euros. At one point, for reasons linked to sporting guarantees, the player decided to take some time. There is still the intention to revisit the talks. For now, since his deal runs until 2028, it is not seen as an immediate priority, meaning no meeting has been scheduled yet, but both sides intend to return to the discussion because the player deserves it."
