The tests Fikayo Tomori underwent after the muscle issue suffered last Sunday against Napoli fortunately showed only a slight adductor strain, which the defender recovered from in a few days. Yesterday, the English player returned to group training and will therefore be fully available to Massimiliano Allegri for tomorrow night’s trip to Juventus.

Milan with the usual defensive line?
In fact, not only will he be called up, but he could start from the first minute. Tuttosport writes this morning that in recent days the ex Bianconeri coach had tried Koni De Winter, but Tomori’s quick recovery could change the plans again. Allegri is considering using the “usual” three-man defense in Turin, consisting of Tomori, Gabbia, and Pavlovc, which has not conceded a goal from open play in over a month (since August 23 against Cremonese at San Siro). The only formation doubt for Allegri is between Tomori and De Winter, which he will resolve today during the final training session.
Otherwise, the team that played the last matches will go forward unchanged. The only exception is Davide Bartesaghi on the left, replacing the suspended Pervis Estupinan, who received a one-match ban after the red card against Napoli last Sunday. Everything else remains confirmed: Mike Maignan in goal, Alexis Saelemaekers on the right, and in midfield the trio of Youssouf Fofana, Luka Modric, and Adrien Rabiot, the latter two being former players of the match along with Allegri.
In attack, alongside the ever-present Christian Pulisic, Santiago Gimenez will start again, still searching for his first goal in this Serie A season.
