Pierre Kalulu, Juventus defender, spoke at a press conference after Juventus-Milan.
Another draw…
“It was a tough match against a very confident, strong opponent. Both sides had chances to score. We are not satisfied with this point, but we have to take it and focus on the next game.”
Do you like playing as a wide player?
“Everyone has their preferences. In that position, I can score a few more goals. My goal is to be as complete as possible, so in a month or two you might see me higher up the pitch rather than in defense.”
What is your objective?
“To stay near the top, it’s always like that. The coach decides.”
Kalulu, you won the Scudetto with a Milan that conceded 2 goals in 10 games. Do you see a similar team this year?
“It’s always delicate to talk about opponents because you are not inside their locker room. They are lucky not to have European games, so they might be a bit fresher. I watched some Milan games: defensively they are very organized and they have a lot of offensive quality with players who can make a difference on their own.”
What kind of league do you see?
“I prefer a league like this, where any team can drop points against anyone. All matches are entertaining and you never know who will win. At this point of the season, everything is still open.”
