Imagine losing the Scudetto by two points due to drawing vs Como in Australia, says Pellegatti

The fact that Milan-Como in Serie A will be played in Perth, Australia, is sparking a lot of debate. For some, like Van Basten, this game will distort the fairness of the league. Rabiot, in an interview with 'Le Figaro', also said he does not look favorably on this initiative. Carlo Pellegatti, a historic journalist close to Milan, agreed with the French midfielder and explained his stance during 'Tutti Convocati' on 'Radio 24'.

Pellegatti’s words:

"I don’t agree with those who speak positively about Milan-Como. As a Milan supporter, if Milan were to lose the Scudetto by two points because of a draw against Como, and maybe also against Pisa... Well, I went to Tokyo, which is much closer than Perth, and then Milan would lose Coppa Italia games against Piacenza or the like. Could Milan draw with Como at San Siro? Yes. Have they done everything to bring fans back to San Siro? Yes. And now we go and play again on neutral ground. As a Milan fan I don’t like it, I wouldn’t want to lose the league by two points only because you drew against Como in Perth. That’s all. It’s 21 hours of travel, dehydration. The climate, you go from February to July, and there it’s 30 degrees, you can understand the shock. Nutrition, the time difference, the absence of fans is important. The trip back is also important. I understand Dr. De Siervo, but Rabiot said what he thinks. There are 12 million to be shared: a sum for Milan, one for Como, and a share for the others. Inter, Juventus, Roma, and Napoli each take 150,000 euros and win the league by two points because we draw with Como? No way."
