Mike Maignan’s future at Milan is one of the most discussed topics lately. According to Pianeta Milan, the Rossoneri club management appears ready to offer the French goalkeeper, a major contract renewal worth around 4 to 4.5 million euros net per season.

The decision now rests with Maignan.
The ex Lille goalkeeper must choose whether to continue his journey with Milan, which began in 2021 after Donnarumma’s departure, or explore new opportunities across Europe.
His name had also been linked again to PSG in the past as a possible successor to Donnarumma, who is now at Manchester City. The idea of returning to France appealed to the Milan goalkeeper, but PSG later turned their attention to another target, 2001-born Lucas Chevalier.
The young goalkeeper, however, has not convinced the Parisian club, and if Maignan becomes available on a free transfer, PSG could return strongly for him.
Maignan seems to have very clear goals in mind. He wants a top club with a strong chance of winning major trophies. The main question is how many elite teams are currently looking for a goalkeeper of his level. If no convincing offers arrive, his stay at Milan appears quite likely. The club, for their part, have no intention of selling him in January. Now it is a matter of waiting to see how the situation develops. Is a renewal close?
