Commenting on the latest injury updates regarding Pulisic, and especially Adrien Rabiot, Alfredo Pedullà spoke about the need to better organize international breaks and the serious impact for Milan of losing such a key player as the Frenchman.
"There should be a way to make the relationship between clubs, national teams, sporting directors, and coaches reach a balance, because in this situation, you end up paying a heavy price. Milan has paid a heavy price, which I wouldn’t say compromises them, since the squad still allows some options, but it certainly deprives them of key pieces."
Pedullà continued to talk about the injuries situation at Milanello:
"The verdict on Rabiot is a very harsh one. It could mean three to four weeks out. Losing Rabiot now, with Jashari unavailable, after finding such a strong balance with the Modric-Rabiot mix, in my opinion, is a big blow. This is a heavy price to pay. I think the rule on the distribution of international breaks needs to be reviewed."
