AC Milan beat Fiorentina and now sit at the top of the Serie A table with 16 points.

The Rossoneri team of head coach Massimiliano Allegri, despite suffering quite a few absences such as Adrien Rabiot, Christian Pulisic, and also Ruben Loftus-Cheek, still managed to earn three precious points against Stefano Pioli's Fiorentina.

If you follow the latest Serie A news, you'd know that the Rossoneri have managed to pull quite a feat by defeating Fiorentina, despite having very limited options on the bench.

Who was the best player in Milan - Fiorentina at San Siro?

The MVP was Rafael Leao. La Gazzetta dello Sport, in this morning's print edition, also chose him as the best player with a rating set at 8 as he scored a brace which granted the Rossoneri a huge win.

Right after the Portuguese is Luka Modric who contributed in attack and also defence.

Santiago Gimenez has also worked very hard. The Mexican striker did not score. But, his movements up front disturbed the defenders and has even earned the Rossoneri the penalty. His rating? a 7. Milan Futuro graduate Davide Bartesaghi earned a rating set at 7 as well as he worked well.

Midfielder Youssouf Fofana was granted a rating set at 6.5 for his work against Fiorentina. But as for Mike Maignan, Fikayo Tomori, Matteo Gabbia, Samuele Ricci, and Alexis Saelemaekers, they were all granted ratings set at 6 by the Italian newspaper Gazzetta.

Who was the worst player in Milan's lineup vs Fiorentina?

The least impressive was Zachary Athekame. He started from the first minute and failed to put a strong convincing performance. His rating was set at 5.5 The worst player in the match, however, was from Fiorentina: Fabiano Parisi, the 24-year-old left-back, with a rating set at 5.
