Antonio Nocerino, a former and much-loved Rossonero known for his unexpected strikes in front of goal, spoke to 'La Gazzetta dello Sport'.
On his move to Milan:
"In 2010 Zamparini rebuilt everything, and I went to Milan for 500,000 euros. Thinking about it now makes me laugh. I looked at Gattuso, Ambrosini, Van Bommel, and the others and thought, ‘Alright, they’ll put me in the storage room.’ Instead… boom: 11 goals between league and cups."

On Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s assists, Nocerino said:
"Three or four. The first impact was rough, he hit me with a shoulder in training and I flew. But I went looking for goals myself. Zlatan was always marked by two players, behind him there was space, and I slipped in there."
On his best moment at Milan:
"The goal against Barcelona at Camp Nou, with my father in the stands. It summed up where I started and where I got to, the struggles and the hard times. The food on the table that sometimes wasn’t there. From Piazza del Plebiscito to that stadium…"
On his worst moment at Milan:
"Muntari’s disallowed goal. Impossible not to see it. We would have won the Scudetto again."
On Silvio Berlusconi:
“Aura. He knew my children’s names and even where they went to school…”
On coach Massimiliano Allegri:
"Courage. He showed it with me."
