Sunday’s Milan-Roma Serie A fixture, valid for matchday 10, might have lost one of its most anticipated players: Evan Ferguson. The Roma striker was forced to withdraw against Parma due to an injury suffered just moments after the kickoff.
Il Corriere dello Sport wrote this morning that:
"Ferguson’s ankle goes down in 18 seconds,"
In fact, today, the Irish forward who is 21 years of age will undergo medical tests that could confirm a sprain, likely ruling him out not only for Sunday’s game at the San Siro venue.
So far this season, the player in question made 10 appearances between Serie A and Europa League. He played 420 minutes in total and only managed to provide one assist without scoring any goals.
