Il Sole 24 Ore ran the following headline in today's edition:
"Milan, for the first time over 100 million in sponsorship revenue."
For the first time in the club’s history, AC Milan has surpassed 100 million euros in sponsorship income. The financial newspaper writes: "Sponsorship revenue in the statutory financial statements rose from 80.8 million two years ago to 91.1 million in the latest fiscal year, and with some additional items, such as royalties, it totals 97.2 million, an increase of almost 13 percent. The actual surpassing of the 100 million threshold is the result of deals finalized in recent weeks that capitalized on the potential of the AC Milan brand."
Among these is the contract renewal with Emirates until 2030, with the airline set to pay 35 million euros per year.
Il Sole 24 Ore continues: "The increase in partnership revenue is based on the strategies developed in recent years by CEO Giorgio Furlani and Chief Commercial Officer Maikel Oettle, which have allowed Milan to count 44 partners, with the average value per collaboration up by more than 23 percent compared to the previous season. It is no coincidence that Brand Finance’s Football 50 has identified Milan as the European club with the strongest brand value growth between 2021 and 2025, with an increase of over 160 percent."
