The good news from Parma, the only one considering the final result, is that Massimiliano Allegri was right about Rafael Leao too.
The Portuguese didn’t shine for the full 90 minutes, he no longer makes his trademark bursts, but at least he was decisive, with a goal and an assist. Yesterday he was ice-cold from the penalty spot against Suzuki, and in the second half he set up Pulisic with an outrageous assist.
Rafa has finally become a leader, not only through goals but in many other ways, and this morning La Gazzetta dello Sport praised Allegri’s intuition and the Portuguese’s performance with the headline:
