Milan still has a centre-forward problem, so they are looking for options both in January and next summer. Yet the club has invested heavily in that area in recent years: to sign Noah Okafor, Alvaro Morata, Santiago Gimenez, and Christopher Nkunku, the Rossoneri spent over 100 million euros on transfer fees. The issue is that so far these players have scored only 21 goals in total.
The Mexican and the Frenchman are still in the squad, and the hope is that they will soon increase their tally, but both are struggling since neither has scored in the league after eleven matches (each has only one goal this season, in the Coppa Italia against Lecce).
