According to La Gazzetta dello Sport this morning, the Rossoneri club managers could return to the market in January to sign not only a forward but also a defender. A name that is highly regarded at Casa Milan is Thomas Kristensen from Udinese.
The Danish player, born in 2002, has been out since the end of September due to a left thigh hamstring injury, but during this period Udinese have performed well even without him, so Giampaolo Pozzo's club could be willing to listen to offers as early as January. His transfer fee is around 15-20 million euros.

Regarding Milan’s January transfer plans, Rossoneri sporting director Igli Tare stated yesterday at the Social Football Summit in Turin:
"What kind of market will we have? We are not thinking about it. I don’t know, but we will be very careful with every opportunity. I don’t think it will be a major market, but we will be ready if it proves useful."
