The coach of Juve Stabia, and former Milan full-back and youth coach, Ignazio Abate, gave an interview to today’s edition of 'Il Corriere dello Sport':
"After hanging up my boots, I was aiming for a managerial role. I took the course to become a coach and realized that was my path. I’m happy because I started from Milan’s youth sector. I’m eager to learn. I hope to improve with this group."
Abate continues:
"Milan always in my heart? I became a man at that extraordinary club. I learned mentality and professionalism there, along with a sense of duty and the ethics of responsibility. But I also grew thanks to the values I received from my family: my parents and grandparents, Ignazio and Pasquale, grandmother Nunzia and grandmother Margherita. I was lucky to have them."
