Christian Pulisic is truly Milan’s treasure, the pride of AC Milan. The American player is excelling again this season, despite his usual turbo-charged starts in past seasons and despite an injury that kept him out for several matches.
This Derby, won 1-0 against Inter, also bears his mark, as did last year’s Derby and the Supercup. Peppe Di Stefano, Sky Sport 24 correspondent, spoke about him live outside Milanello Training Center.
Di Stefano on Christian Pulisic:
"I define Pulisic as essential. Milan may not depend on him, but when he is on the pitch, his presence is clear. He is an attacking midfielder who can play as a winger, second striker, or even as a main striker. He scores goals. He is not flashy, he never overdoes anything, very essential in his work and thinking. He is always present at Milanello and highly valued by the group. Ironically, this start of the season, in which he missed four games due to injury, is his best performance compared to any previous start since he joined Milan. Seven goals in ten games, six of them from the first minute. He is deeply connected to the Rossoneri environment, and there is even talk of a contract renewal that he deserves. His career seemed to be declining from Chelsea to Milan because he wasn’t performing as he does now. He can perform well in every offensive role."
