The Italian newspaper Corriere dello Sport ran the following headline in this morning's print edition about the AC Milan club:
"The transfer market to help Allegri."
Head coach Massimiliano Allegri is the one who has made the fewest substitutions in Serie A so far.
What is the reason behind Allegri making few substitutions in Serie A?
The reason is that AC Milan's squad is rather short, with only 19 outfield players. If the Rossoneri, currently second in the standings, two points behind league leaders AS Roma, want to fight for the title until the end, reinforcements are needed in the January transfer market window, particularly in defense and attack, where they lack another center-back and a true number nine.
