Jean-Pierre Papin, former Milan striker, speaking on Carlo Pellegatti’s YouTube channel, said:
On Rafael Leao:
"For him it is perhaps harder, changing him seems hard to me. If he manages, he will become a different player."
On Olivier Giroud:
"We are close friends, when he arrived at Milan I was pleased. A centre forward like him scores and defends, and he even plays in goal. He made an important choice, going to Milan is hard when you are at clubs like Chelsea or Arsenal. At Milan you play to win every time, he was outstanding."
On Adrien Rabiot and Maignan:
"Maignan is incredible, one of the greatest French goalkeepers. He looks unbeatable, he always knows what he must do. I met Rabiot when he was at OM, one of the greatest modern midfielders I know. He scores, he defends, he is excellent technically. He is doing well."
On Youssouf Fofana and Christopher Nkunku, Papin said:
"Nkunku is not like the others physically, he depends on technique and speed and in Italy it is hard because defences are strong. It is hard for him but we are talking about a very good guy and a good player. Fofana is struggling a bit but he has technique and character, he needs a bit more time."
