Emiliano Viviano spoke on Carlo Pellegatti’s YouTube channel. The former Sampdoria and Palermo goalkeeper addressed Milan and pushed back against criticism aimed at him for a strong comment he made about last Sunday’s derby.
Allegri is focused on results right now.
"It feels like when people talk about football there are only two positions, either Milan win or Milan are awful. There is a middle ground. When I tell you I am not convinced by Milan, I say it in relation to winning the title, not finishing second or third. Today I am not sure they will win the title. I see them one step below, not because of the result, but because of how they will face teams that will not give them space."
A final thought on Milan:
"Milan were built to play in transition. Today they have Modric, who allows them to keep the ball more. Still, you have Rabiot who gives his best with space, Pulisic attacks depth, Leao wants space, Loftus wants space. Cleaning a few more balls helps, because if you manage to do that and give the ball to Modric, everything changes."
