The sporting judge has issued the decisions after matchday 13 of Serie A. Massimiliano Allegri, who was sent off at the end of Milan vs Lazio, has been suspended for one match. He will not be on the bench on Monday for the league game away at Torino. Here is the reason for the one match ban and the ten thousand euro fine:
"One match suspension and €10,000 fine.
Allegri Massimiliano (Milan): in the 52nd minute of the second half, while the referee was preparing an on-field review, he walked toward the tunnel in protest, then approached the referee in the review area and challenged the decision in an intimidating manner. After being shown the red card, as he left the technical area, he behaved in a provocative way toward a member of the opposing bench," as relayed via Milan News.
The sporting judge also fined Milan five thousand euro because supporters threw three plastic bottles, two half-full plastic cups and a lighter into the pitch area during the second half. The sanction was reduced under article 29, paragraph 1, letter b of the sporting code.
