Rafaela Pimenta, Santiago Gimenez’s agent, stated that AC Milan is satisfied with the performance of the Mexican player, despite rumors suggesting he could leave the Italian club. She also noted that it is not surprising that the Cruz Azul youth product is linked to Premier League teams.

"If the Premier League wants him, I am not surprised. It is normal that one, two, or three clubs might show interest, but the idea of him leaving from Milan does not exist," Rafaela Pimenta said in an interview with ESPN.
Pimenta, who said rumors of Gimenez moving to Roma were only speculation, confirmed that Milan is happy with him despite winter transfer market speculation.
“Santi arrived at Milan in January, a Milan that was not top of the table. To avoid talking about a Milan in difficulty, which is not very nice. Now, everything I have seen, all messages and conversations with Milan, are always positive. There has never been a moment when Milan told me things were not going well. Despite what the media says, whenever I call Milan, they always tell me we are fine, thank you.”
In the interview, Rafaela Pimenta urged Mexican clubs to defend their position regarding the prices they set for players:
“It may sound strange to repeat it, but Mexican clubs need to continue having the courage and strength to say no. No, this is not the value of our player. We are here to show the world that our player has a different value.”
