Luca Bianchin, journalist, spoke on gazzetta.it presenting Konstantinos Karetsas, a Genk winger who is attracting Milan’s interest:
"Small. The first thing you notice about Konstantinos Karetsas is that he arrives behind some opponents: about 1.70 meters or slightly more. The second is that he comes from the line of pure left-footed players. Milan sent scouts to watch him in the Europa League match against Basel on November 27, and 'Kos' scored the 2-0 goal: a good sign. In Casa Milan’s archives, his name has been circulating for a while because Karetsas is a 2007 and knows how to conduct himself. His father Vaios told journalists in May 2024: 'Leipzig, Milan, and even Manchester City invited us multiple times. We didn’t like it. The only club besides Genk with which we had talks was Ajax. Simply because it is close and we have a lot of respect for that club. It was just a conversation. The second would have concerned sporting and financial matters, but by then we had already given our word to Genk.' This is what is called being turned down."
