After the defeat and elimination from the Coppa Italia at the hands of Lazio, Milan travel to Torino tomorrow evening for matchday 14 of Serie A Enilive. The match is important and tricky, also because Milan have not won at the Stadio Olimpico Grande Torino since the 2020/21 season, when they earned a clear 7-0 win. That match was an exception, because across the last 12 meetings Milan have beaten Torino only once. The Coppa Italia exit might push Massimiliano Allegri’s team, and a win would send them back to the top of the Serie A table ahead of Inter.
Tomorrow evening Allegri will likely be without Christian Pulisic, who is doubtful due to a strong fever. The American did not travel with the squad to Torino, and at this point his presence appears unlikely, as pointed out by Milan News. The five-man midfield will include Saelemaekers, Modric, Rabiot, Bartesaghi and Loftus-Cheek. In attack, Leao will start next to Nkunku, who needs to respond on the pitch after recent poor displays.
