Milan come out on top in a wild match in Turin. Down by two goals after fifteen minutes, they turn it around and win 3-2.

Torino-Milan, first half:

After rotation in the Coppa Italia, Allegri, suspended, with Landucci on the bench, brings back the starters. Loftus-Cheek beat former Torino player Ricci for the spot left by the injured Fofana. Pulisic has a fever so he start on the bench, Nkunku plays next to Leao. Baroni respond with a 3-4-1-2. Vlasic supports Adams and Zapata.

The start for Milan is a nightmare. After about fifteen minutes they are already two goals down. In the eighth minute, Pedersen cross into the box and Tomori, while trying to challenge Adams, touches the ball with his arm. Penalty for Torino. Vlasic steps up, Maignan guesses correctly and touches the ball, not enough to stop the goal.

Seven minutes later Torino double their lead. Tameze win the ball from Nkunku and feed Vlasic, who plays wide for Zapata. The former Napoli striker hits a strong shot to the far post. Maignan reach it again but cannot stop it. Milan protest over Tameze’s challenge on Nkunku, but the referee and VAR stick to the original decision.

After the double blow, Milan finally enter the match. In the 24th minute they cut the deficit with a brilliant goal from Adrien Rabiot, who receive from Tomori and fire a left-foot shot from 25 meters. The ball dips suddenly and goes under the top corner. Milan push for the equaliser. Leao tries but sends his shot wide. On that action, he's injured on his adductor and is forced off.

Landucci brings on Ricci and pushes Loftus-Cheek higher next to Nkunku. In the last quarter hour Milan dominate and lock Torino in their half. In the first of four added minutes, Milan almost level through a left-foot volley from Rabiot on a cross from Saelemaekers. The ball goes just wide. The half ends with Torino ahead by one.

Torino-Milan, second half:

No changes at the break and the second half start with Milan on the front foot again. After two minutes Loftus-Cheek break through on the right, enter the box and send a low cross for Nkunku, who try a back-heel. Israel blocks.

In the tenth minute, AC Milan have a huge double chance. Rabiot crosses from the right, Bartesaghi heads toward goal, goalkeeper Franco Israel makes a strong save then throws himself at Ricci’s rebound. Five minutes later Torino reply. Pedersen reach the edge of the box and aim for the far post with his left foot, the shot is off target.

In the 21st minute of the second half, Landucci tried everything and sent on Christian Pulisic for Bartesaghi. The move is perfect. Less than a minute later the American scores the equaliser. Saelemaekers cross from the left toward the far post, Casadei and Coco miss the ball and the former Chelsea player controls and finish with his left foot past Israel.

Christian Pulisic had been doubtful due to a strong fever yesterday, but his entrance changed the match. In the 78th minute he score again and complete the comeback. Ricci cross from the right, Pulisic arrives at the right time and place and beats Israel again with his left foot.

Milan push to finish the match. A pass finds Nkunku who is closed down by Lazaro, the loose ball reach Loftus-Cheek who hits it first time but sends it wide. With two minutes left Landucci made the final change, Estupinan for Saelemaekers.

Chiffi adds five minutes. In the first one a Pulisic goal is rightly disallowed for an earlier offside by Nkunku. Torino fail to create anything and Milan secure a huge win. The result sends them back to the top of the table together with Napoli, as pointed out by Milan Press.
