Elmar Bergonzini, journalist and German football expert, commented in La Gazzetta dello Sport about Adin Licina, a young Bayern Munich player also attracting Milan’s interest:
"Ambitious. And therefore dissatisfied. In Bayern Munich, which is flying this season (12 wins and 1 draw in the first 13 league matches, 20 wins in 22 overall games, with 76 goals scored), there is a reason for dissatisfaction. Personal, without doubt, but also at the management level. The 2007-born Adin Licina, in fact, finds no space. Surpassed in the hierarchy by the younger Karl (born 2008), with Musiala’s imminent return and Olise’s emergence as a world-class winger, it is impossible for him to play. Coach Kompany does not even consider him, and so Licina, long regarded as the purest talent in Bayern’s youth sector, is fading."
"He plays in Bayern’s second team, but he himself is (no longer) satisfied with his development path. Milan is interested, but many European clubs also value the player: it would be a move similar to what Juventus did years ago with Yildiz, revitalizing a talent who today has become a star in Turin."
