Mike Maignan spoke to SportMediaset on the eve of Napoli vs Milan, the Italian Super Cup semifinal.
“A trophy is always nice, but until we have won it we cannot celebrate. No focus on last season, a different path lies ahead, a different match, everything changes. The match will test both sides, both teams show strength. Full concentration must stay on actions on the pitch, maximum effort every second.”
“I cannot make comparisons with the Scudetto season, I am four or five years older now. Obviously I have worked to feel good, to reach a level I have always been looking for. Right now I feel good and I want to give my maximum, as I have always tried to do, for myself, for the team, for the Club and for the fans. We always play to win, we must give everything every day, for every match and for every trophy we can win. There are no trophies more important than others.”
