"In the 175 official meetings between Napoli and Milan, the record stands at 53 wins for Napoli, 54 draws, and 68 victories for Milan. Napoli will be participating in the Super Cup for the sixth time, having won it in 1990/91 and 2014/15, beating Juventus on both occasions. Milan will take part in the Super Cup for the 14th time, having already won it on eight occasions (1988/89, 1992/93, 1993/94, 1994/95, 2004/05, 2011/12, 2016/17, and 2024/25)."
"No team has won more Super Cups on penalties than Milan (2), victorious in 2016/17 against Juventus and in 1994/95 against Sampdoria. Milan also won the first Super Cup held abroad (the third in the club’s history): 1-0 for Capello’s team over Torino on 21 August 1993 in Washington D.C."
