Niclas Füllkrug is moving ever closer to Milan. The Rossoneri have already reached a preliminary agreement with the German player and are continuing talks with West Ham in order to reach an agreement with the English club as well. Sky Sport DE reports that Milan are willing to cover the striker’s full salary for the next six months, a figure between €1.2 and €1.5 million net.

Negotiations between the two clubs are ongoing without pause. The parties are working on the purchase option, which should be set below 10 million euros. It is not yet clear whether the deal will be a loan with an option to buy or an obligation to buy, but both Milan and West Ham are optimistic that Füllkrug will soon become a new Milan player. Wolfsburg and other clubs remain on standby, ready to step in should the deal collapse.
Füllkrug is not going through the best period of his career.
In the summer of 2024, when Milan were already interested and he was coming off an excellent season with Borussia Dortmund, the striker chose to move to the Premier League. Around a year and a half later, he now finds himself out of the regular starting rotation and dealing with repeated physical problems that have continually disrupted his progress. This season he has played only 413 minutes, with eight Premier League appearances, five of them as a starter, and one in the League Cup. From 20 October to today, he has been on the pitch for only 28 minutes. He is still yet to score a goal this season, as relayed via Milan News today.
