Niclas Füllkrug, a striker born in 1993, is expected to arrive in Milan this evening. This is the report emerging in recent minutes from Sky Sport 24, specifically from Rossoneri correspondent Peppe Di Stefano, speaking directly from Milanello.
The long-awaited green light has therefore arrived in the negotiations between Milan and West Ham, who have agreed on a free loan deal with an option to buy. Thanks to the exemption granted this morning by the FIGC, Milan will be able to register Füllkrug immediately when the transfer window opens and have him available to play as early as the evening of 2 January away to Cagliari.
Peppe Di Stefano spoke about Füllkrug’s situation as follows:
"For Füllkrug, the green light has arrived from West Ham and the player will be in Milan this evening. Milan had submitted a loan offer with an option to buy. He will be a very useful player for the team, especially in terms of numbers. There is a need for a player with different characteristics, and there is an immediate need. Milan have two priorities, a striker and a defender. The green light came just a few moments ago."
