Niclas Füllkrug is set to become a new AC Milan player. Only the official announcement is missing, which is expected once the January transfer window opens from 2 January onwards. The German striker, born in 1993, joins the Rossoneri from West Ham on a loan deal with an option to buy, set, according to reports in recent hours, at 5 million euros.

After completing his medical examinations today, the player will take part in his first training session at Milanello tomorrow.
Meanwhile, colleagues at Calcio e Finanza have already assessed the financial impact of Niclas Füllkrug on Milan’s accounts. As mentioned, the player arrives in Milan on a free loan with an option to purchase set at 5 million euros.
Therefore, the cost affecting the club’s finances for the current season will be limited solely to his gross salary of 2.7 million euros, equivalent to 1.5 million net. A separate calculation would apply in the event of a permanent transfer, taking into account the 5 million euros fee and a projected salary of around 3 million euros net.
