According to journalist Matteo Moretto, speaking in his usual video on Fabrizio Romano’s YouTube channel, 2026 could bring important developments regarding the club’s ownership structure. These were his comments:
"For Milan, from a corporate perspective, in 2026 we certainly expect possible developments, because relatively significant movements are starting to emerge concerning the club’s economic and financial situation. It remains to be seen whether there could be the sale of a stake, or a financing operation to cover the debt (RedBird’s, not the club’s) with Elliott. Or potentially even a sale of the club."
Possible scenarios at Casa Milan? Moretto said:
"For now, though, the scenario is still not clear. What I can tell you is that there are movements in this direction. In 2026, Milan could definitely change its face from a structural and corporate point of view in relation to these matters. I suggest you keep an eye on the situation."
