Yesterday, Rafael Leao watched Milan’s 3-0 win over Hellas Verona from the stands. The Portuguese forward, who had stopped playing three weeks ago during the match against Torino, is still experiencing discomfort in his adductor when sprinting.
For this reason, head coach Massimiliano Allegri chose not to include him in yesterday afternoon’s home game against the Hellas Verona, which ended 3-0 in favour of the Rossoneri (thanks to a goal by Christian Pulisic and a brace by Christopher Nkunku). There is, however, no certainty about when he might return to the pitch: his presence on Friday in Cagliari is far from guaranteed, as relayed via those at Milan News.
