AC Milan secured an important 0-1 win against Cagliari, powered by an outstanding performance from Luka Modrić. The Croatian midfielder dominated the game, expertly orchestrating both the attacking and defensive phases. The decisive goal came in the 50th minute, scored by Leão from a Rabiot assist, but it was Modrić who earned the MVP award from the Milan faithful.

Modrić shone as the true leader on the pitch.

The ex Real Madrid star has once again showcased his class and his complete skill set with an impeccable display. He delivered precise passing and organized the team’s build-up superbly, helping Milan retain possession and create dangerous chances. His ability to intercept opposition passes and launch attacking moves proved decisive. His vision and experience made the difference at key moments of the match.

His work was crucial in maintaining control of the game and securing victory for the Rossoneri. Modrić’s statistics speak for themselves: 69 completed passes, three successful tackles, and three defensive clearances. His presence was a constant reference point for his teammates, underlining his importance to the side, as pointed out by Milannews.it.

With 51 percent of the votes cast on the AC Milan Official App, Modrić finished ahead of Leão, Rabiot, and De Winter in the MVP race. A commanding performance that once again highlights Luka’s value and offers plenty of encouragement ahead of the upcoming fixtures.
