On his YouTube channel, Alfredo Pedullà published a video in which he commented on Milan’s 1–0 win away to Cagliari, secured by a goal from Leao, and addressed some of the rumours surrounding two Rossoneri players, namely Nkunku and Loftus-Cheek. These were his words:
“Milan won, and what matters is winning. They won after a somewhat flat first half, but in the second they came out with the right mindset and found that flash of brilliance from Leao, which is worth a temporary place at the top of the table. You saw that they had to do without many regular starters, they had to play with Bartesaghi in a three-man defence, and Loftus-Cheek played behind Leao. Above all, in my opinion, there were some important statements from Tare before the match that dampened things a bit. You will say that words count for little when it comes to the transfer market, but they are still words that need to be reiterated and commented on. He ruled out any possibility regarding Nkunku, even though there was an approach from Fenerbahçe, with Tedesco, who knows him well from their time at Leipzig. We will see what happens. Maignan did not have any major saves to make; it was a routine match.
On Loftus-Cheek and Lazio:
"Pay attention to the Loftus-Cheek situation. He is at the top of Sarri’s list for Lazio’s midfield. The Biancocelesti will make an attempt. Allegri considers him important to his system. Milan are a club that listen to offers. For Sarri, he is the first choice on the list. We will see how things develop later on, because this is a situation to monitor, also in light of what Milan will do as they look for a defender.”
