Fabrizio Romano, the well-known Italian journalist, spoke on his YouTube channel about the Kim situation, with the defender being linked to Milan:
“In recent transfer windows, Kim has often been linked with Italian clubs, in this case Milan. There is always a lot of talk about a possible return for Kim, who clearly did something extraordinary in Italy, winning the Scudetto with Napoli as a leading figure. Beyond an interest that we confirmed in the summer, Milan did ask for information, but even back then the salary issue was insurmountable, and not even the inclusion of some players in the deal was enough."
"The German club, from what we understand, has no intention of letting go of key players from a team that is not just doing well, but exceptionally well. There is huge enthusiasm about the unity of the squad and about coach Kompany. Losing Kim in a market like this would truly mean losing a very important piece for Bayern. The message coming from Bayern is a clear intention not to part ways with Kim.”
