Thursday night’s match at San Siro between Milan and Genoa will not be like any other for Massimiliano Allegri. The three points are crucial, but the emotional side will also play a role, as the 58-year-old coach will reach the milestone of 200 games on the Milan bench.
Allegri’s numbers at Milan
Across his first spell (July 2010–January 2014) and his current one (from July 2025), the ex Juventus coach has led the Rossoneri in 199 matches so far, achieving 104 wins, 54 draws, and 41 losses. His teams have scored a total of 336 goals (1.69 per game) and conceded 194 (0.97 per game). More specifically, Milan played 101 home games under him, with 62 wins, 23 draws, and 16 losses. Away from home, results were harder to come by: 42 wins, 31 draws, and 25 losses, as pointed out by Milan Press.
There will be no room for special celebrations, as Allegri is fully focused on a match that offers three important points.
Unlike last weekend, this time Milan will take the field knowing the results of Inter (away at Parma) and Napoli (Hellas Verona at Maradona). The goal is to keep pace and not let the Scudetto race slip away.
