At the pre-match press conference ahead of Fiorentina vs Milan, a match scheduled for tomorrow at 3:00 PM CET at the Artemio Franchi stadium, the Rossoneri head coach Massimiliano Allegri offered some indications about the starting line-up he intends to field against Paolo Vanoli’s Fiorentina.
In fact, Luka Modrić is very unlikely to start and is set to sit on the bench for the first time this season in order to get some extra rest.
In attack, Christopher Nkunku has been declared fit again, although he is unlikely to start. There could be a surprise up front, with Niclas Füllkrug in contention for his first start with Milan. The German striker could partner Pulisic, while Leão might begin the match on the bench. In midfield, with Modrić out, the choice is between Samuele Ricci and Ardon Jashari.
At the moment, the Italian seems to have the edge over the Swiss midfielder, even though Allegri has not ruled out the possibility of playing them both, potentially giving Fofana and Loftus-Cheek a rest, as pointed out by Milan News.
