Ahead of this afternoon’s match at Fiorentina, Massimiliano Allegri tested a back four in training, although, at least initially, the 3-5-2 formation that Milan has used all season is expected to be maintained, as relayed via Milan News.
This was reported this morning by La Gazzetta dello Sport, which adds that there will be several changes to the starting lineup compared to the last match against Genoa: in defense, De Winter will replace the suspended Tomori, while in midfield, Loftus-Cheek and Jashari will take the places of Fofana and Modric.
Adrien Rabiot is also doubtful, as he is not fully fit; if he cannot start, Ricci will take his spot. Estpinan will play on the left instead of Bartesaghi, while upfront Allegri has chosen the Fullkrug-Pulisic pairing, with Leao and the recovered Nkunku starting on the bench.
AC Milan's possible lineup:
(3-5-2): Maignan; De Winter, Gabbia, Pavlovic; Saelemaekers, Loftus-Cheek, Jashari, Rabiot, Estupinan; Fullkrug, Pulisic.
